The museum offers free outreach programs and travel trunks that are specific to Texas history and meet TEKS for 4th and 7th grade. Museum programming is cross-disciplinary and has a focus on creativity, writing, historic exploration, decision making, and critical thinking. These workshops will provide information on these resources that can be added to your current curriculum. The workshops will also include a chance to try some of the fun and engaging educational activities provided in our outreach programs and travel trunks. Finally, you'll have time to work with your colleagues to brainstorm ways to incorporate these great assets into your curriculum for the year! The workshop is completely FREE but pre-registration is required and available below.
