Early Childhood Learning with the Museum
2.5 CPE credits
FREE - Pre-registration is required.
  • February 21, 2022, 10:00am-12:30pm

This 2.5 hour workshop will provide information on the different resources offered by the museum that can be added to your current curriculum. These resources include school field trips, classroom outreach programs, and travel trunks. Museum programming is cross-disciplinary and has a focus on fine motor skills, decision making, and critical thinking. The workshop will include a private tour of the museum highlighting the different interactive elements and activities available to students on school field trips followed by a chance to try some of the fun and engaging educational activities provided in our outreach programs and travel trunks. Finally, you'll have time to work with your colleagues to brainstorm ways to incorporate these great assets into your curriculum for next year!

Spaces are limited to 30 total attendees.
